Job Description

RN - Med Surg – Jackson, MI

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Highlights:

Location: Jackson, Michigan
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: Worker required to float to an equal or lesser acuity if requested

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and effective patient care
Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical situations
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established protocols
Float to an equal or lesser acuity unit as needed

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Prior travel experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations
