Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Med Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This float pool position offers a dynamic opportunity to work across various Med Surg and Telemetry units in a well-respected healthcare facility. Rochester is a lively city known for its vibrant culture, nearby Finger Lakes, and a rich history in innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in multiple Med Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and provide discharge instructions
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately


Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Med Surg Tele RN.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit dynamics.
  • Availability to work 12 hour rotating day, evening, and night shifts
