Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract position in Hamilton, NY. This 13-week assignment offers a valuable opportunity to work in a dynamic medical-surgical unit, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment, taking prompt action as necessary.
Administer treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.

Valid RN license in New York state
2 years of MS nursing experience
Current BLS certification
ACLS certification preferred
Excellent clinical skills and adaptability
