MRI Technologist – Augusta, Maine

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract in Augusta, Maine. This role involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Schedule:
This position requires an alternating weekly schedule:

Week 1: Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Week 2: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
Review patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate imaging.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Monitor and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate records in EPIC or similar PACS systems.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
ARRT certification is required.
Maine State Radiologic Technologist License is required.
BLS certification is required.
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI physics.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Contract Details:

13-week assignment.
Day shift schedule with alternating weekly shifts.
