Job Description

MRI Technician

Location: Houston, TX

Experience: 2 years

Shift: Days- 40 hours a week

Licenses/Certifications:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiology required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns
Position patients correctly and administer contrast agents as needed
Monitor patients during scans, ensuring their safety and comfort
Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
2 years of experience as an MRI technician
Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We need an MRI tech that is familiar with Siemens and GE equipment.
