MRI Technologist

Location: Houston, TX

Experience: 2 years

License/Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including taking medical histories and explaining the process.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images.
  • Administer contrast media, as needed.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
