MRI Technologist

Location: Houston, TX

Experience: 2 years

License/Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures, including taking medical histories and explaining the process.
Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images.
Administer contrast media, as needed.
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail andproblem-solving skills.
