Job Description

Sunbelt has a job opening for a Middle School Special Education Teacher in the Somerset, Massachusetts area.

Job Description:

This is a full time job for the remainder of the current school year
Manageable 6th through 8th grade caseload at one site
Instructional services and support are provided both in and out of the general education setting
Job Responsibilities Include:
adapting curriculum to accommodate diverse learners, as needed
providing instructional services and support
writing new or updating existing IEPs
monitoring and recording student progress
ensuring compliance with established timelines

Requirements:

valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license

strong skills in:

classroom management

collaboration with parents, related service providers, and school administration

maintaining documentation in adherence to district timelines

creativity and the ability to effectively engage students

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher with recent experience, preferably at the middle school level. Our preferred candidate will have excellent references and a strong record of dependability, adaptability, and professionalism.
