Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist – Night Shift
Location: Brooksville, PA

We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to fill a night shift position in Brooksville, PA. This role requires a Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience, in accordance with Department of Health regulations for night shift work.

The position will follow a night shift schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next, including every other weekend. The role involves performing generalist work, including phlebotomy, chemistry, Blood Bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and micro plating (no reading of micro plates).

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of experience in medical laboratory technology
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science
Licenses and certifications as required by the state or willingness to obtain
Ability to perform generalist laboratory duties including phlebotomy, blood bank, and various other clinical tests
Experience with instrumentation including:
- LIS: Cerner Millennium
- Chemistry: Siemens Dimension Vista 500
- Hematology: Sysmex XN 2000
- Coagulation: IL ACL Top 350
- Urinalysis: Sysmex UA
- Serology/Immunology: Roche LIAT and Qiagen
- Blood Bank: Automated Echo Lumena, computer crossmatching, and tube back-up

This is a 13-week contract assignment, concluding on April 28, 2025.
