Job Description

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits and insurance options available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with screening and scheduling various types of patient appointments.
  • Collect consents and necessary paperwork to efficiently register patients for fast-track or provider visits.
  • Obtain medical history and health information for fast-track patient visits.
  • Accurately order lab tests and ensure timely processing.
  • Obtain blood specimens using appropriate venipuncture techniques, ensuring proper labeling and packaging. Adhere to OSHA recommendations when handling, processing, and packaging lab specimens.

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or a minimum of one year of experience performing medical assistant duties as outlined above.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy is required.
