Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Orthopedics)
Springfield, IL

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Orthopedics position. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, including pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients, monitoring patient progress, assisting with mobility, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a positive patient experience.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Medical Surgical setting, with a strong background in Orthopedics. As a Registered Nurse in this position, you will be expected to perform assessments, provide education, administer medications, and assist physicians during patient care. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are a must.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical Orthopedics setting
Active RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (must be current or willing to obtain)
Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work the night shift

Shift: Night shift (12-hour shifts)
Contract: 13 weeks
