Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a skilled Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in Geneva, NY. This 13-week contract offers a great opportunity to work in a community hospital and expand your clinical experience while providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care to adult medical, surgical, patients across various inpatient units.
Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and administer medications as prescribed.
Perform a variety of nursing tasks, including wound care, IV management, and patient education.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure a safe and positive patient experience.
Be adaptable and willing to float to different units based on patient needs.

Requirements:

RN license in New York State.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills in different units.
BLS,ACLS, PALS certifications required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
