Travel Mammography Technologist - Day Shift

Location: Houston, TX

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day shift

Job Description: Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and adaptable Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Operate and maintain mammography equipment.
Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
Maintain patient records and documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification in Mammography.
Valid Texas state license in Mammography Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Strong understanding of mammography safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent technical skills in operating mammography equipment.
Ability to work occasional evenings and some Saturdays.
Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
