Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Glenview, IL
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts)

Job Type: Travel Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a travel position in Glenview, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro experience, be licensed in Illinois, and possess all required certifications. This is a great opportunity for an IR Tech looking to expand their skills and work in a dynamic medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on neuro interventions
  • Work closely with radiologists and physicians to assist with imaging-guided treatments
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
  • Maintain high standards of image quality and accuracy in all exams
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Neuro Experience: Strong background in neuro interventional procedures is a must
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Illinois Radiologic Technologist License (IEMA)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Schedule:

  • Day Shift (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • Combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
  • Must be flexible with scheduling to meet departmental needs
