Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Glenview, IL
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts)

Job Type: Travel Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a travel position in Glenview, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro experience, be licensed in Illinois, and possess all required certifications. This is a great opportunity for an IR Tech looking to expand their skills and work in a dynamic medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on neuro interventions
Work closely with radiologists and physicians to assist with imaging-guided treatments
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
Maintain high standards of image quality and accuracy in all exams
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of equipment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Neuro Experience: Strong background in neuro interventional procedures is a must
Licenses/Certifications:
- Illinois Radiologic Technologist License (IEMA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Schedule:

Day Shift (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
Must be flexible with scheduling to meet departmental needs
