Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility while exploring the vibrant Peoria area.

Position Overview:

Location: Peoria, IL
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and catheter insertions.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to capture detailed images during procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
Monitor patients' vital signs and provide support during and after procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Document procedure details accurately and assist in post-procedure patient care.

Requirements:

Certifications: ARRT (RT)(VI) certification required and current BLS certification.
Licensure: Active Illinois state Radiologic Technologist license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech in a hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of interventional procedures and sterile techniques.
Previous travel experience is preferred.
