Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Day Shifts
13-Week Contract in Winchester, VA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week contract in Winchester, VA. This day-shift position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Assist the interventional radiologist during procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
Ensure proper handling and use of sterile supplies and instruments.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in IR preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
Active Virginia state license.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Proficiency in using imaging and radiology software systems.
Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety practices.
