Accepting applications for an IR Tech opening in Houston, TX. Hospital is looking to interview quickly.

Location: Houston, TX
Shift: Days, 730a-4p with call rotation
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension

Requirements:

Certification: ARRT (R) or (VI) required
License: Texas or willing to obtain
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
Recent neuro experience preferred
Certifications: BLS/ACLS (AHA)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Houston, TX. As an IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Position patients correctly for optimal image quality.
Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
Administer contrast media and monitor patient reactions.
Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
