Job Description

Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Memphis, TN

Shift: 8-hour shifts, with rotating shifts: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (or until completion of procedures).

Call Requirements: Call shifts are required after 5:30 PM and on weekends.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Memphis, TN. As a Travel IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in performing a variety of interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images.
Assist physicians during procedures, including positioning patients and handing instruments.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
