Job Description

Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: Our district is looking for a compassionate and dedicated LPN to join our district for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will provide nursing care to our student body in accordance with nursing practice standards and regulatory guidelines. The LPN will work collaboratively with our team of RN's and staff to ensure student wellbeing and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to students as needed
Monitor student medical conditions and escalate changes to appropriate healthcare providers
Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary
Work with school healthcare team to maintain records in compliance with the law
Ensure students receive general triage and preform general health room duties as needed
Work with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs

Qualifications:

Active LPN license in the state of MN
CPR certification
Ability to work well in a team environment

Experience:

Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
