Job Description

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Travel Contract
Location: Galveston, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 10-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–6:30 PM)


Position Highlights:

  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (after initial 2-week orientation period)

  • Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday & Sunday

  • Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Equipment: Fixed & mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic units, PACS


Requirements:

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Texas MRT license (required upon submission)

  • ARRT(R) certification

  • AHA BLS
    Education: Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology
    Experience: 2+ years as Rad Tech (ER & OR experience preferred)
    Skills: Proficiency with trauma, surgical, and emergency imaging


Additional Details:

  • Float: May be required to similar units based on skillset

  • Call Requirements: Discuss with hiring manager

  • Scrubs: Facility policy applies
