Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams in both general and vascular areas.
  • Utilize ultrasound machinery to generate high-resolution images.
  • Assess and interpret ultrasound findings.
  • Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Keep detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and standards.

Job Specifics:

  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
  • Work Hours: 8-hour shifts
  • Weekly Commitment: 40 hours
  • On-call: None
  • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • BLS certification from AHA.
  • Proficiency in various scans, including reflux, ABI/Arterial (upper and lower), vein mapping, general vascular, and pseudoaneurysm. Strong background in OB and breast ultrasound is essential, as this role involves diagnostic breast studies.
  • Familiarity with EPIC/GE Pacs and GE equipment.
