Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Elgin, IL. Elgin, located just outside of Chicago, is a thriving community known for its parks, historic downtown, and easy access to the cultural and recreational opportunities that the Chicago area provides.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, including general X-ray and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide excellent care for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety measures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess and deliver imaging needs.
  • Maintain patient records, prepare images, and report results as required.
  • Operate equipment, including Siemens/GE/Medtronic, and utilize EPIC and GE PACS for charting and reporting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Elgin, IL
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, 40 hours per week
Requirements:
  • BLS certification required
  • Appropriate modality certification (Radiologic Technologist, ARRT)
  • Experience with general X-ray and fluoroscopy required
  • Proficiency with EPIC and GE PACS preferred
  • Ability to work with Siemens/GE/Medtronic X-ray equipment
