Position Details:
Responsibilities:
Perform mammography exams, including 2D, 3D, and tomosynthesis (Tomo) imaging.
Provide excellent patient care and comfort during procedures.
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced according to established protocols.
Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Assist with patient positioning and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results accurately.
Work closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to support patient diagnosis.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required Licensure:
Florida State License as a General Radiographer.
ARRT License.
Initial Mammography Course with 40 hours of training.
15 breast-related CME's within the last 36 months.
Number of mammograms performed in the last 24 months OR reinstatement with documentation of 25 supervised cases per MQSA.
Certification:
BLS (Basic Life Support).
8 hours of Tomo/3D training.
Required Experience:
Recent experience performing mammography exams.
Strong knowledge of mammography techniques, safety standards, and patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with patients and medical staff.
