Responsibilities:
Assist with performing interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, and other minimally invasive treatments.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, digital angiography, and other specialized IR technologies.
Ensure accurate patient positioning, proper sterile technique, and high-quality image acquisition during procedures.
Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Prepare and maintain necessary equipment and supplies for each procedure.
Provide technical support to physicians and other team members during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, and imaging results.
Follow safety protocols and infection control standards.
Participate in rotating call schedule with a required 30-minute response time.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Active certification as an ARRT (Radiography) and ARRT (IR) or equivalent.
Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and imaging equipment.
Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations.
