Job Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Type: 13 week contract

Job Summary:

Must have recent neuro experience

Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, biopsies, embolization's, and catheter placements.

Monitor patient vital signs and administer moderate sedation as needed.

Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and potential complications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in [State].

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in interventional radiology, critical care, or emergency nursing.

  • Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required

  • Certification in Radiology Nursing (CRN) – Preferred

  • Strong IV insertion, sedation management, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
