We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiograph Tech (Echo) to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Job Description:

• 40 hours per week
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Days (5x8 hour shifts)
• Hours: 8a-5p Monday thru Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms (ECHO) on patients according to physician orders and department protocols.

• Ensure accurate patient positioning, equipment calibration, and optimal image acquisition during procedures.

• Provide excellent patient care and comfort, explaining procedures and answering questions as needed.

• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation of procedures and imaging results.

• Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

• Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of echocardiography equipment.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in echocardiography and attend relevant continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.

• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.

• BLS certification required.

• Previous experience performing echocardiograms preferred, but not required.

• Strong understanding of echocardiography techniques and equipment.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
