Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team in Elmhurst, IL.

Job Description:
  • 40 hours per week
  • 13 weeks
  • 4x10 hour shifts
  • 7a-5:30p

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Assist in procedures including EP studies, coronary interventions, and IR procedures.

  • Ensure patient safety by preparing patients for procedures, monitoring their status, and providing appropriate care.

  • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.

  • Prepare and manage necessary equipment, supplies, and medications.

  • Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.

  • Document and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of recent Cath Lab experience, with significant exposure to multi-specialty procedures, including EP, Cath, and IR.

  • High-level experience in patient care and monitoring during EP, Cath, and IR procedures.

  • Current ARRT certification.

  • Valid Illinois state license for Cath Lab Tech.

  • BLS and ACLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-specialty Cath Lab environment.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

  • Ability to handle complex procedures and respond to emergency situations with composure.
