Job Description

Adult ICU RN – 13-Week Contract in Syracuse, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Available Shifts:

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Every other weekend and some holidays required.

Position Overview:
Join our Adult ICU team in Syracuse, NY. This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will provide care to critically ill patients in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center. You’ll be expected to have previous experience in adult ICU, EPIC EMR, and trauma care. You’ll also be required to work every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in the Adult ICU.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver care with minimal orientation and supervision.
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation (preferred).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Current New York State RN License.
Certified in BLS and able to recertify.
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care facility, preferably in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated.
Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.
Legal right to work in the U.S. required.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
All candidates will be subject to drug screening and criminal background checks.
