Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced House Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment in Watertown, New York. Situated near the scenic Thousand Islands and Adirondack Mountains, Watertown offers a welcoming community, outdoor adventure, and beautiful landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient staff management
  • Coordinate patient flow, bed assignments, and support staffing adjustments as needed
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical decision-making
  • Act as the main point of contact for emergencies and critical incidents, coordinating responses effectively
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and ensure seamless communication between departments

Requirements:

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of two years of related experience as an RN, with a strong background in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and standards of care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
