Shift: Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Roanoke, VA. As an RN in this role, you will provide in-home assessments, administer treatments, and deliver compassionate care to patients. Candidates must have proficiency in OASIS documentation and experience using Homecare Homebase. This opportunity is ideal for an RN passionate about delivering quality care in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home patient assessments and create individualized care plans
  • Provide treatments such as wound care, medication management, and IV therapy
  • Complete OASIS assessments and document in Homecare Homebase
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, care plans, and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Virginia
  • Minimum 2 years of bedside home health experience
  • Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase documentation
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently and effectively
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet Joint Commission requirements
