Caseload: PreK-12th Grade (varied age range with a mix of developmental and educational needs)


Position Overview:

Sunbelt is seeking a fully licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a school district in Anderson, IN for the remainder of the school year. This position will involve working with students across Pre-K to 12th grade, addressing a range of needs such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' development and contributing to their academic and functional success in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and Assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall occupational functioning.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and treatment goals that align with students' needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistent support for students.
  • Provide therapy to students individually or in small groups, as needed, based on their IEPs.
  • Monitor student progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of therapy sessions, assessments, and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in Indiana.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work with students across a wide range of ages (PreK-12th grade).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
