Caseload: Preschool - 4th Grade Students
Licensure Requirement: Active Ohio SLP License (required)

Job Overview:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Euclid, Ohio. This opportunity involves providing speech and language therapy to Preschool to 4th-grade students, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically.

Responsibilities:

Therapy Services: Deliver direct speech therapy to elementary-aged students, addressing speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and early literacy skills.
IEP Creation & Implementation: Work closely with educators and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
Assessment & Progress Tracking: Conduct regular assessments, track student progress, and adjust therapy goals and plans as necessary to support student development.
Collaboration with Staff & Parents: Coordinate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that speech therapy goals are integrated into daily classroom activities.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Ohio SLP License (required)
- Experience with elementary-aged students, particularly those with speech and language impairments, is preferred
Desired Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with a team of educators and support staff
- Passion for working with young children to build critical communication skills

Job Details:

Start Date: Immediate (2024-2025 School Year)
Work Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week
Location: Euclid, OH
Caseload: Preschool through 4th-grade students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
Work Type: Onsite, W-2 employment
