Special Education Teachers (SPED) – Auburn, WA

We are seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for full-time roles at a local school district near Auburn, WA:

Pre-K to 5th Grade SPED
6-12th Grade SPED

Key Details:

Full-Time Schedule: 40 hours per week
Caseload Size: Approximately 5-10 students
Behavior Teacher Role: Assist instructional staff and related service staff in educational and non-educational activities for students with significant behavioral disabilities, promoting positive behavior outcomes and academic success.

Qualifications:

Active WA License
Relevant licensure and experience in Special Education
Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
