Full-Time Special Education Teacher | Near Blue Island, IL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the academic and social growth of students with disabilities.

Qualifications:

1-5 years of teaching experience.
Valid LBS1 Teacher Certification required.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Provide direct instruction and support in both small group and one-on-one settings
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success
Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records
