Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our dynamic team in  Milford, DE.  As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of our students. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and parents, and providing interventions to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional strengths and needs.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to educators and parents to support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay informed about current trends and research in school psychology and apply best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Delaware School Psychologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments using a variety of psychological tools and methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators.
