Full-Time School Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) w/ Benefits - Redwood City, CA

A school district near Redwood City, CA, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support high school students. This full-time position is for the entire school year and offers guaranteed hours along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

  • Active California COTA License
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with children with disabilities in an Occupational Therapy or educational setting

Responsibilities:

  • Work on-site Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
  • Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for 9th-12th grade students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to update IEPs
  • Assist students with tasks such as writing and using classroom tools
  • Monitor progress and provide updates to the supervising OT and Special Education team
