Job Posting: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - 

Location:  Milford, DE

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting in Milford, DE. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with school staff and families to support students with diverse behavioral needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being during this temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other educational staff to implement behavior support strategies and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques and interventions.
  • Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure continuity of support and promote family involvement in behavior intervention strategies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of behavior goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavior analysis and intervention.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community stakeholders.
