Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a qualified Travel First Assist CVOR CST to join a growing healthcare facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This 13-week contract provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills on a 4 x 10-hour day shift schedule, with the chance to contribute to a supportive surgical team.

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons across various surgical specialties, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Prepare the sterile field and surgical environment.
Anticipate the surgeon's needs and ensure instruments are readily available.
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the surgical procedure.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

Active Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a First Assist in a surgical setting.
Proven experience with neurosurgical procedures is highly preferred.
Strong sterile technique and adherence to safety protocols.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work holidays and call as required.
