Job Description

Position: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
On-Call Requirement: Minimum 7 days per month, including weekends and possible holidays. Only on-call shifts, no other scheduled weekend/holiday shifts.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract position in Downers Grove, IL. This role involves providing essential support in the cardiac cath lab, with responsibilities including operating equipment, assisting with procedures, and responding to on-call needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
  • Respond to on-call shifts, which include a minimum of 7 days per month, including weekends and holidays.
  • Document procedures and patient data using EPIC.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Rad Tech experience.
  • Active Illinois state license (IEMA), ARRT or RTR certification, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
  • Experience with EPIC is required.
  • Highly preferred: Experience in Cath Lab and EP, RCIS certification.
  • Flexibility for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Details:

  • Floating requirements are to be determined.
  • Patient service area includes Central Chicagoland.
