Registered Nurse (ED)
Location: Syracuse, NY

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Department. The position involves working with both adult and pediatric patients, requiring experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma care. EPIC experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
Experience in trauma centers or hospitals of equal or greater size preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated
Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
Must possess verification of the legal right to work in the U.S.
Must pass pre-employment health clearance
All candidates are subject to drug screening and criminal background check

Certificates required:

Current New York State Registered Nurse License
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Additional certifications may be required or must be obtained

Duties:

Perform a majority of patient care skills in an acute care setting
Conduct nursing assessments in the specialty area with minimal orientation and supervision

Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 a.m.
Contract: 13-week contract, with every other weekend and some holidays included
