Job Description

Sunbelt has a job opportunity for an Elementary School Special Education Teacher in the Kent, Washington area.

Job Details:

This is a full time long term contract for the current school year, with strong likelihood for annual renewal
Manageable Elementary School caseload consisting of students with mild to moderate needs
Job Responsibilities Include:
- developing or modifying curriculum to accommodate diverse learners
- participation in the IEP process
- providing instructional services and support
- working in collaboration with fellow teachers, related service providers, and school administration
- monitoring and recording student progress
Requirements:
- ESA with Elementary level Special Education endorsement
- we are able to assist with expediting ESA in process
- recent experience, preferably at the Elementary School level
- exceptional skills in curriculum development, IEP's, direct instructional services, time management, and written and verbal communication

We will consider a strong new grad with active or pending ESA and relevant experience!
