Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Geneva, NY. If you're a quick-thinking, skilled nurse ready to provide top-notch care in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

Assess patients presenting to the emergency room, triage patients based on acuity, and prioritize care accordingly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an ED RN.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Monitor vital signs and patient condition
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team is a must
Willingness to work 12-hour day, evening and night shifts.
