Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel ED Observation RN for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, NY. Known as the Flower City, Rochester offers a vibrant cultural scene, scenic parks, and access to the beautiful Finger Lakes region. This position allows you to expand your skills in a dynamic observation unit while enjoying all that this welcoming city has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ED Observation unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications:

Active RN license in New York State.
ACLS, BLS (AHA) certifications required.
TNCC certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 year 's of recent ED experience.
Telemetry experience required
Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent decision-making abilities.
Effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork are essential.
