Job Title: Echo Tech - Day Shift

Location: Bloomington, IL

Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Echo Tech to join our healthcare team in Bloomington, IL. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance. As an Echo Tech, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to our patients. Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms on patients as ordered by physicians.
Ensure proper patient preparation and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
Record and document diagnostic information in accordance with healthcare facility standards.
Review images to ensure they meet the required quality and diagnostic standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and provide information from the echocardiogram results.
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
Provide compassionate care and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications:

Certification as an Echocardiography Technologist (RDCS or RCS) required.
Previous experience in echocardiography or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of echocardiographic techniques and principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Day Shift
Monday – Friday (No weekends or nights)
