Location: Billings, MT

Schedule: Days - 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

On-Call Requirements: 7-10 days of call per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Tech to join our team in Billings, MT. In this role, you will play a critical part in the surgical team, providing support in the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries. You will work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and management of the operating room for cardiovascular procedures.
  • Provide technical support during surgeries, including aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty/stenting, atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, CABG, EVAR, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, TAVR, and VAD.
  • Maintain equipment and instruments in the CVOR, ensuring all tools are sterile and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to ensure effective and safe surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to ensure a sterile environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of prior experience as a CVOR Tech.
  • Required Skills:
    • Experience in a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to:
      • Aortic aneurysm repair
      • Angioplasty/stenting
      • Atrial septal defect repair
      • Cardiomyoplasty
      • CABG
      • EVAR
      • Laparoscopic cardiac surgery
      • Mitral valve replacement
      • Pericardial window
      • TAVR
      • VAD
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
    • NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required.
