Travel CVOR Tech

Location: Akron, OH

Job Type: Travel

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience; CVOR experience preferred

Certification: AHA BLS - Current

Shift: Day shift: 7am-530pm

On-Call Requirements:

1-2 call shifts weekdays per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning
1 weekend call per 6 weeks 24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday
1 working shift Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks typically try to coordinate with weekend call
Can be rotated on holiday call schedule if the need arises

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CVOR Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience and a strong preference for CVOR experience.

Responsibilities:

Scrubbing open heart and vascular cases, including wired vascular procedures
Adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Assisting with patient positioning, draping, and preparation
Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR Tech
AHA BLS certification
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including on-call and weekends
