Travel CVOR Tech

Location: Akron, OH

Job Type: Travel

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience; CVOR experience preferred

Certification: AHA BLS - Current

Shift: Day shift: 7am-530pm

On-Call Requirements:

  • 1-2 call shifts weekdays per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning
  • 1 weekend call per 6 weeks 24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday
  • 1 working shift Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks typically try to coordinate with weekend call
  • Can be rotated on holiday call schedule if the need arises

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CVOR Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience and a strong preference for CVOR experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing open heart and vascular cases, including wired vascular procedures
  • Adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
  • Assisting with patient positioning, draping, and preparation
  • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR Tech
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including on-call and weekends
