Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel CVOR RN for a 13-week contract in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Known for its vibrant cultural scene, historic landmarks, and proximity to Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is an exciting location for your next travel assignment.

Position Details:

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications:

Licensure: Active RN license
Certifications: BLS required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience in a fast-paced environment with proficiency in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, robotic thoracic cases, generator exchanges, lead extractions, heart transplants, and fem-pop bypass

Skills and Requirements:

Strong CVOR background with ability to work independently on a variety of complex cases
Experience with EPIC charting system, Alaris, Pyxis, and DaVinci XI required
Surgical team will consist of two RNs per case—traveler will function as Circulator only

Job Responsibilities:

Circulate in complex CVOR cases, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team
Work closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers in high-stakes cardiac and thoracic procedures
Manage and document cases using EPIC and other surgical equipment and systems
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and assist with patient care needs throughout procedures
