Job Title: CT Technologist – Night Shift
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Type: Travel/Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)

Job Description: Sunbelt Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a premier trauma center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This night shift role requires a minimum of 2 years of trauma imaging experience and proficiency with Siemens equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CT imaging of the abdomen/pelvis, chest, and head/neck, along with skills in multiplanar reconstruction, contrast media preparation and administration, and starting IVs. Additional expertise in spine/musculoskeletal imaging, aspirations/biopsies, drainage procedures, brain perfusion, and PACS is essential. The position involves working with patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Familiarity with Cerner is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans using Siemens equipment, including abdomen/pelvis, chest, and head/neck imaging.
Execute multiplanar reconstructions, prepare and administer contrast media, and start IVs.
Conduct aspirations/biopsies, drainage procedures, brain perfusion studies, and manage PACS.
Apply isolation precautions as necessary and deliver high-quality care to patients across all age groups.
Operate effectively within a high-pressure trauma environment.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
BLS certification via the American Heart Association.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a trauma setting.
Proficiency with Siemens equipment and Cerner software.
Demonstrated skills in imaging techniques, contrast media administration, and IV procedures.
Experience with patients of all ages, including neonates and older adults.
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
