Job Title: Travel CT/MRI Radiologic Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Assignment: 13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and experienced Travel CT/MRI Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY. Located in the heart of Upstate New York, Syracuse offers a perfect blend of professional opportunity and cultural exploration. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and MRI examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists.
  • Greet patients, explain procedures, position them appropriately, and set proper exposure factors to achieve high-quality imaging.
  • Ensure patient safety by practicing proper radiation safety and protection protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain optimal studies.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
  • Process images and input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and protocols outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Provide radiologic examinations as directed by referring physicians and radiologists.

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Active New York State (NYS) license/registration.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist specializing in CT/MRI.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operation and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
