Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist - Variable Shifts

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Pittsburgh, PA. This role features variable shifts, offering flexibility for experienced MRI Technologists looking to advance their careers while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Pittsburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a range of MRI procedures to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions.
Prepare MRI exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate clinical history.
Review patient history and determine appropriate MRI protocols.
Explain examination methods, position patients, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
Ensure the quality of MRI images and coordinate the preparation of images/exams for physician review.
Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
Monitor MRI equipment performance, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

ARRT (MR) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
Valid Pennsylvania state license in MRI Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to work flexible and variable shifts.
Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols.
Excellent technical skills in operating MRI equipment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.
Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
