Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team on a full-time contract basis in Scottsdale, AZ. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring goals are tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to support student learning and promote academic growth.
Collaborate with parents, school staff, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
Monitor and report on student achievement and behavior, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement.
IVP Fingerprint Card
